The new Mediterranean Champion is the Greek International Master Ioannis Georgiadis. He achieved the second GM norm so very soon we will have a new Greek Grandmaster. Congratulation Yanni!

2-8 January in Greece we had the final section of Greek championship for young men, women and boys girls <=18. So I present you our four new champions. Filippas Sebastien,Katerina Pavlidou,Zoi Iordanidou (difficult to capture not laughing) and Yorgos Kanakaris.

I had already mentioned that Ernesto plays every time with Che on his hand. But yesterday except him I saw also Sargissian was wearing a t-shirt with Lenin.

Finally I see that almost all the players used the same uniforms. I like it much. Over here is Kleanthis Vafiadis that played for AMO GALAXIAS at first round and made a draw against strong GMLanda Konstantin.
